Silver articulated fish scent bottle

Silver scent bottle in the form of an articulated fish with red glass eyes, imported from the Netherlands in 1890 by David Bridge. The tail and head display Dutch sword marks, the tails also carries London marks and an F for foreign.

David Bridge was the general manager of John George Smith & Co who were in the business of shipping & forwarding agents. The company were responsible for importing a great deal of European silver into the UK.
