Royal Worcester circular cream and brown repousse porcelain perfume bottle decorated with Japanese figures in the style of Satsuma. Modelled and coloured to appear as carved bone. One side depicts a nobleman holding a fan, behind him is a spray of large stylised flower heads; the other side shows a warrior battling a fanged mythical beast. The bottle is complete with a silver screw collar and silver screw cap, which still has the original cork insert. The cap is fully hall marked for Chester 1890 and carries the makers’ mark CS FS for Cornelius Desoreaux Saunders and Francis Hollings Sheperd.
