Chelsea Porcelain Toys

Chelsea porcelain toys were made at the Chelsea factory during its short existence from 1745-1769. Scent bottles from this period were carried by the ladies of the 18th century in their coaches. Many of the bottles were made with decorated concave bases and dainty stoppers in keeping with the design of the scent bottle.
