Bonbonnière in the form of Cupid sitting on a grassy mound tying a ribbon around the neck of a lamb which is laying next to him. He has a quiver slung round him, the band of which, carries the words PAYSER. Based on the quality of manufacturer, this is probaby a later French copy of a Chelsea toy.

A bonbonnière (or bomboniera in Italian) is a decorative box or container, traditionally for sweets, symbolising good luck, given as a party favour at special events like weddings, baptisms, or birthdays, often holding sugared almonds or chocolates.
